DO I QUALIFY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP?

What are the basic requirements to apply and be considered?

  • You need to be a resident of a developing economic country as listed (click here).
  • You may not be company sponsored employee of a Wült strategic partner.
  • You need an internet connection and access to a computer.
  • You need to be able to commit at least 4 hours per week to studying.
  • All diplomas are provided in English. You need a good command of the language.
  • You need an address that can accept international deliveries from Europe via DHL, UPS or similar.
Do Wült really only award 100% scholarships?

In terms of direct course related academic fees, yes. The Wült international remote / online scholarship covers all academic fees for the entire duration of the course, which total just short of €3000. This includes:

  • Full tuition
  • Textbooks
  • Mobile apps / online student portal
  • Exam fees
  • Graduation fees
  • Shipping costs
At Wült, scholarships are not awarded by the Wült Institute itself, but a separate trust (WCT) that have their own rules and policies. One of these policies states that administrative contributions are not covered in the scholarship, only fees directly related to the course of study (such as textbooks and tuition etc as mentioned above). Having said that, there is a €79 once off payment which covers enrolment and the first months’ administrative contribution. Then there is a monthly €29 (settled in the first week of every new month) that would be required while studying at the Institute. This covers the administrative costs for having a student rostered. It’s worth mentioning that even though the Institutes' programs are a year long, the harder a student work, the quicker they are able to complete the qualification and the less administrative contribution is needed.
Can I study and work at the same time?

This is the preferred manner of study at the Institute. The main reason for this is you can work and study at the same time and if possible, apply what you learn immediately in the workplace. This will allow our students to start making a positive impact in their lives,  work and communities immediately - at Wült, this is what we call direct and compounding positive impact and one of the fundamental reasons we provide these qualifications in this first place.

I work for a Wült strategic partner, can I apply?

Wült strategic partners are companies which have one or more student undertaking a diploma course for the purpose of succession planning and professional development. If you work for one of these organisations, you may not apply.

If I change my course of study, does that affect my scholarship?

Yes, your scholarship will become void if changing your course of study. You will need to reapply.

Can I apply for a scholarship if I’m an existing student?

Yes, if you meet the requirements you may apply.

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?

No, you may only hold one scholarship for one diploma. However, if you have any financial aid from another 3rd party program you may use this to fund your studies.

How do I know if my scholarship application has been successful?

Once you submitted your scholarship application, you will receive a notification email to let you know it is in progress. The Wült academic board will inform you within two weeks if successful.

When can I apply for a scholarship?

At Wült, we don’t have set start dates so our semesters are dynamically adjusted to fit each student’s individual start date. This approach allows students the flexibility to start anytime during the year.

Do I need to be able to travel / live in Germany to be considered for a scholarship?

No. At Wült scholarships are for remote / online study in your home country. The main reason for this is you can work and study at the same time and if possible, apply what you learn immediately in the workplace and start improving your life immediately.

Moreover, and very importantly, you will receive the same course material, textbooks and even exams as students taking lectures.  When you graduate, an official diploma will be shipped to your home with DHL or UPS. This will be the exact same diploma as if you were attending in person in Germany.
